Helping Joplin

I am sure ALL OF YOU have heard of what has happened to Joplin. There are several places and businesses offering their locations as drop off sites for donations. There will of course be more locations added soon.

Immediate needs are:
First aid kits, toiletries, water bottles, gallons of water, blankets, non-perishable canned foods, extension cords, generators and baby items: diapers, formula(including formula for babies sensative to colic) and baby wipes.

I also just got a text from my husband with extra information: They can also use items you don't have to cook to eat(like tuna), and crackers.  And if you are up to it, a co-worker of my husband has a lot of family in Joplin who have lost everything. She is going up Thursday if you would like to put a few things to the side for them, I can meet up with you. Please email or comment.

Okay so I went to Wal Greens on Thompson by Wal Mart and Aldis. I used one of my coupons for the free pack 18 to 22 count liners. I walked in expecting to walk out with no need to pay anything, but that is not the case. You must pay tax. I am sure most of you realized that, but yeah I didn't. I had to pay .09c . So always know your taxes! For Springdale you pay 9.25%.

       I am sure most of you are upset with us for not posting a lot lately and I am SO sorry about that! Like I've previously stated, I am moving. Well, I am MOVED, but still have unpacking and buying to do. So please be patient with us! Cyndi is still trying to get her house sold, so pray for her!

       Oh and DEFINITELY pray for me, I've got to wake up at five in the morning to go to the Farmers Market on Emma! I have not woken up that early for quite a while.

       Well, Cyndi and I went to Starbucks and got our half price Fraps! Talk about good! haha I was nervous to try the Mocha Coconut, but it was actually really good! They put roasted coconut slices on the top of the whip cream and they were amazing. I am officially going to be buying some coconut slivers and roasting them and hiding them! ;)

And I wanted to let you know that Springdale Wal-Mart(the one on Robinson) DOES have the Noxzema razors that you can get .03c overage on, but you have to really look for them. They DO NOT have the Purex 3-in-1 sheets that you get .03c overage on though, nor do they have the one load of Tide that you can get .03c overage on. You can get .43c overage on the 12count of BIC razors though. I will suggest that you go to Marvins because you can get $2 overage on the BIC razors.


Wal-Mart in Rogers off of Walnut DOES NOT have the Purex 3-in-1 sheets either, they DO have the Tide one load. They DO NOT have the Noxzema razors, well they might I may have just over looked them.

Also, if you happened to clip the $2.50 off of TWO Reach items, you can use that for 2flosses at .88c a piece and that leaves you with .74c overage! Not bad.   :)
